Last year, our children experienced
huge gains, earning the highest number of A’s
that they have ever received as well as their
lowest number of F’s. Spiritually, many developed
the foundation they’ll need to experience abundant
life. Each academic achievement, personal accomplishment
and expression of faith has been reason for
us to celebrate.
With your ongoing support and God’s divine blessings,
many of our children are blossoming into honor roll
students and excellent citizens.
Student highlights
Of the children that we served in
2010-2011, many experienced academic and
personal transformation. Following are student
highlights.

MIND
- 73% passed all of their classes (a 16% increase from 1st Qtr)
- 45% made all ABC’s (a 45% increase from 1st Qtr)
- 160 were on the honor roll

BODY
- 100% were offered a hot, nutritious
meal each day
- 100% were up to date on physicals and
immunizations
- 100% received eye exams*
*Eyeglasses were provided as needed.

SOUL |
Percent Improvement in ISAT reading and math from 2011
Illinois Standards Achievement Test (standardized
test used by schools)
- Reading ISAT from 14 to 28 (a 106% increase)*
- Math ISAT from 12 to 30 (a 144% increase)*
*2011 ISAT results for students who were testing below the 25th percentile in 2010
